BRINGING YOU RELEVANT INSPIRATION, RIGHT FOR THIS MOMENT

    July 2025

    Who doesn't like a gift!

We are excited about the changes that are happening behind the scenes at ReformedWorship.org. The big change, of course, is that the June issue of Reformed Worship was our last print/digital issue as we transition to focusing on delivering the same quality resources solely through the website. Over the next few months, you should notice an increase of new resources currently available under the "Blog" tab.

Another exciting change is that everything on our website is now available for FREE, with no more pesky login credentials to worry about or paywalls to run up against.

Additionally, our newsletter will now include some sort of question or poll each month. Check it out towards the end of this newsletter. A summary of the responses will be available in next month's newsletter.

As always, we are eager to support you in your ministry. Feel free to reach out to us with questions, and don't forget to submit your own resources using the "Submit an Article" button on the home page.

    The Art of Neighbouring

    The Art of Neighboring
A Six-Week Series Exploring the Greatest Commandment
    By Laura DeJong

One summer, the church I was pastoring did a worship series titled The Art of Neighboring, based on the book of the same title by Jay Pathak and Dave Runyon. Some small groups had studied the book in the spring, and as we moved into summer after a long winter of lockdowns, this felt like a great time to encourage the whole congregation to reach out to their communities and to study together how God calls us to be good neighbors to one another.

    NEW RESOURCES

    Wisdom

    Let Scripture Speak
    Wisdom for Worship Leaders
    by Chris Walker

I hope this series will serve as an invitation to think well about our gathered worship. Perhaps you can share with your fellow worship planners and leaders, adjusting them for your context or arguing with them altogether. No doubt you'll have your own nuggets of wisdom to add as well. Please share them with us at

    Praying hands

Loving God, You Hold All Things
    A Prayer of Confession
    by Diane Dykgraaf

    Loving God,
you hold all things in your hands.
    We are small.
We feel insignificant when we consider
all that you are and have done.

    Lord, we are broken
    as creation is broken.
    Our words are not adequate
to describe the pain and the sorrow. . .

    QUESTION OF THE MONTH

If there was one worship hymn/song that you had to listen to on repeat, what would it be?

A summary of the answers will appear in next month's newsletter.
