individual. Education not only refers to the formal

Education helps to reduce the levels of
ignorance. It is through education that one gets
to learn about various things that are happening
in life and also learn better about how to handle
events in life.
Education helps one to improve their chances of
getting a job . This is especially the case with
formal education where people get skills that
they can use in various places of employment.
It is through education that the living standards
of people are improved . This is achieved when
people improve their chances of getting a job.
Education also helps to improve one’s social
skills. When one is educated, they are able to fit
in various social groups as they will be better
able to communicate with other people.
Another benefit of education is that is leads
towards the promotion of a healthier society .
Education gives one the knowledge that they can
use to lead healthier lives.
Education contributes towards the development
of a better society. When there are a lot of
educated people in the society, people are better
able to coexist and understand each other.
Education also helps in the growth of careers.
When one gains education, they can understand
the areas that they are most interested in and
advance their studies on those areas leading to
career growth.
Conclusion
The numbers of educated people across the
globe are rising. This is due to the fact that
people have understood that education
contributes not only towards personal
development but also societal development.
