    Over the last two weeks, communities from the Texas Gulf Coast to the Great Plains, across the Ozarks and the midwestern United States have seen significant severe weather, intense hail and thunderstorms, multiple deadly tornadoes, and broad paths of wind damage and destruction. Memorial Day Weekend weather made a particularly widespread impact.

    The National Benevolent Association is accepting applications for the Prison & Jail Ministry Peer Learning & Wellness Group. This is a 2-year hybrid group for leaders engaged in spiritual care and advocacy ministries with those who are incarcerated (prisons, jails, and immigration detention centers), individuals formerly incarcerated (returning citizens), and families and communities impacted by crime and incarceration. The assembly will “call on candidates for public office" to "endorse a moral public policy agenda that includes policies that lift from the bottom.”
