Pastor Joseph's StoryUnemployment and uncertainty. It's a familiar story this year, but Foursquare pastors around the world have felt the pain of the pandemic in deeper ways than many of us. Thankfully, that's not the end of the story. When COVID-19 lockdowns reached Uganda this past summer, they cost Pastor Joseph his job, his home and the dignity of being able to provide for his family’s needs. His small Foursquare church couldn't afford to pay him a living wage, making him rely on a teaching salary. When schools shut down during the pandemic, he, his wife and their eight children faced desperate times. To make things worse, next came an eviction notice. They gathered their belongings and headed for the church to sleep while he figured out their next move. Let's create more miracles this ChristmasThe hunger crisis for Foursquare pastors continues around the world. To meet the scale of this crisis, our entire Foursquare family is uniting to feed those in need. Their Christmas miracle looks a lot like you and me. |
