Reformed Worship is a collection of resources available through social media, monthly e-newsletters, a website, and a growing digital library, all based on a quarterly print magazine providing practical help and support to worship planners that is biblically-based with a Reformed accent. Around much of the Northern Hemisphere October and November are seasons of thanksgiving for the harvest and provisions. While our current context of a global pandemic, the impact of climate change, locusts, natural disasters, political unrest, social injustice, and racial tensions, may take center stage on our daily newsfeed, it is the task of the church through worship to train the spotlight on God, the giver of all good things. May the Holy Spirit work through you to help  your worshipers look for where the Holy Spirit is active, identify the blessings that God has given, and live counter-cultural lives of gratitude that lead to inexplicable acts of generosity. Think of this time as a season of gratitude, for our God reigns.

    Creating a Season of Thanks-Giving

A six-week series helping your congregation think about what they are thankful for through the whole Thanksgiving season and how they could give back to God.

Giving Thanks in the Words of Our Children

This service centers on the theme of giving thanks for country, church, and children. Each of the three sections features a litany, meditation, and prayer that involve a number of participants from the congregation.

    Joy, Prayer, and Thanksgiving

    By Bernard Ayoola

Joy, prayer, and thanksgiving move us to the place where we see God and recognize our need to totally depend on him.

    Always Lent and Never Easter

    By Kathryn Roelofs

As pastors and worship leaders, we do our best to live into the gospel that we proclaim from week to week. It's a gospel big enough to contain both our laments, our cries, our hopes, and our joys. It's a gospel that recognizes and acknowledges the brokenness of our world and still finds a way to offer the hope of Easter morning.

Story Journey: A Review and Meditation

    By Joy-Elizabeth Lawrence

By cultivating a culture that learns and tells biblical stories, we are writing them on our hearts, allowing the Spirit to use these stories in our and others' lives.
