  • 2025 Christmastide gratitude: Disciples Mission Fund
  • From our doorsteps to the ends of the earth, we interrupted the world yet again with the drum beat of love at Christmas: limitless love is born in humble places and vitally at work among our covenantal witness, ministries, and communities.

From our doorsteps to the ends of the earth
, we welcome Immanuel to be present among us everywhere we cradle hope and peace, and welcome all to the Lord’s table as Christ has welcomed us.

From our doorsteps to the ends of the earth, we imagine a better world is possible because Jesus became flesh and the fulfillment of God’s promises renew fresh tidings of wholeness for today and tomorrow. As 2025 comes to an end, I am deeply grateful for the contributions that individuals and congregations make to Disciples Mission FundPlease consider making a year-end gift to support Disciples Mission Fund.

In 2025, gifts to Disciples Mission Fund:

·Supported the convening of 3,000 Disciple congregations including elders, deacons, young adults, ministers, community ministries, and ecumenical partners at General Assembly 2025 in Memphis, Tennessee, to strengthen their spiritual practice in worship and fellowship as they gained practical skills to serve, grow, protect, and transform.

    · Supported hospital and military chaplains as they cared for patients, healthcare workers, and soldiers and civilians impacted by war throughout the world.

    · Provided assistance for food pantries, housing ministries, and social service agencies that work faithfully to serve their neighbors and communities in challenging times.

    · Sustained dynamic ministry in 31 Regions,13 General Ministries,15 colleges and universities, and 7 theological institutions that help individuals, students, congregations, pastors, and communities move toward wholeness.

    · Expanded access to vital historical and new archival resources to preserve and share the history of our church and the Stone-Campbell movement.

With Disciples near and far, we transform lives and make ministries of wholeness happen through our active and united support for Disciples Mission Fund.

With gifts for ministry and tools to go beyond, we can continue to do more than we ever could on our own because congregations and individuals share gifts and make financial contributions throughout the year and as the year ends.

Thank you for your steadfast and faithful support for our church. 100% percent of the General Board gave gifts to support DMF in 2025. The General Assembly gave over 20k to support Disciples Mission Fund. Gifts of all sizes help us do ministry from our doorsteps and driveways, through valleys, plains, challenging landscapes, and unexpected places, to the ends of the earth. Help us end the year strong by making a gift.

Please join me in making an additional gift to support Disciples Mission Fund as the year ends or consider making a first-time gift if you have not already given this year. Thank you for your prayerful generosity. May the gift of imagination rooted in God's wholeness dwell in you richly in this season and throughout 2026.

    In gratitude and service,

    Rev. Yvonne T. Gilmore
