    Christians from around the globe have gathered this week for the Sixth World Conference on Faith and Order of the World Council of Churches (WCC), meeting Oct. 24 –28 at the Logos Papal Center in Wadi El Natrun. For the Disciples, participation here is more than presence: it is a practical witness to the conviction that unity is both gift and task. Dr. Culp highlights that, “In an age of sharp divisions, ecumenical work models how Christians — grounded in scripture and common service — can seek the life-giving justice, reconciliation and unity the world so urgently needs.

    Located on a busy intersection in southeastern Fort Collins, CO lies Heartside Hill, an affordable housing project. It has 72 low-cost units in 6 apartment buildings, 9 single-family homes, and 2 forever homes built to foster inclusive community among occupants with and without intellectual disabilities. How did it come to be? 25 years ago, it was a dream of Heart of the Rockies Christian Church. Since then, Disciples Church Extension Fund has helped make it a reality.
