    Hi there!

    I hope this finds you healthy and doing the best you can. No doubt, these are chaotic times. It's not easy to manage stress, much less a routine, when one day is so very different from the next.

    If you've been struggling lately with stress and emotional eating, oh boy, do I get that. With gyms closed, food stores empty and time management challenges of work and family suddenly thrust upon us, it's easy to begin that all-too-familiar spiral when everything feels so out of control.

    I've put together some tools to help you manage these stressful days and come out the other side stronger than ever. I believe in you! I know we will get through this, it's just going to take a bit more effort, and I'm here to help.

    How we start this is how we're going to get through this. We are our own line of defense on a constantly changing course. Having a virtual community of support and care is more important than ever.

    This class will reinforce the pillars of Target 100 with an emphasis on stress and emotional eating, but we will also be adjusting each week as a way to keep up with governmental policies that are implemented across the country that affect our lives in various ways. This is going to be a very fluid class with a few new worksheets, new recipe ideas and a lot of support and problem solving.

    We'll start out by looking at everything in 24 hour snapshots, always with a focus on what we can control now when so much is out of control. How we can set up a healthy working atmosphere at home, make space for ourselves through exercise and self care, finding news way to eat with limited food selections.

    How we start this is how we're going to finish this – coming out the other side in our best shape physically, mentally and emotionally with the restricted resources we have.

    Lack of sleep, or poor-quality sleep, is a huge factor for weight gain and limited weight loss. Sleep is also disrupted in the highly stressful environment that we live in these days and CBD helps me fall asleep faster and have a better night's rest overall.
