This newsletter is full of resources to equip and inspire you as you lead your worshiping community to express the wonder of the Easter gospel—Christ is risen; a new day has begun!

EASTER | COLLECTION Grounded and Growing—Easter By Ron Rienstra
Easter is not a return to normal. It is not a sentimental ending to a difficult story—the "happily ever after" we all expect from our favorite narratives. EASTER | COLLECTION A Love Stronger Than Death—An Easter Service By Martin Tel
Celebrating Easter with the Song of Songs may seem to be an unlikely pairing at first. But since we proclaim Christ as the consummate lover of the collective church and the individual soul, what could be more natural? Lilly Endowment has announced its Exploring Christian Practices Initiative, which aims to multiply opportunities and increase access to settings that help individuals from a wide variety of backgrounds explore and engage in Christian practices to address their spiritual interests and questions, find and build community with others, nourish their religious lives and grow in faith.
In this open and competitive initiative, the Endowment invites charitable organizations to submit proposals for grants of up to $2.5 million each that may be used for up to a five-year period.
