    The Christian Church Foundation, Inc. (Foundation) announces the death of the Rev. Dr. James P. Johnson, who served as president from 1992 to 2003 and was later honored as president emeritus in 2007. Johnson’s visionary leadership transformed the Foundation into a trusted steward of resources for donors and ministries of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).

    Reconciliation Ministry invites you to pray boldly for 21 days. Join in online for 21 Days of Prayer, beginning 

    January 19, 2026. Centered on the theme, "Beyond Discovery: Love in Community," this sacred time of prayer launches each year during Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. weekend online on the Reconciliation Facebook page. Leaders from across the church will offer prayer, grounding our journey in a legacy of reconciliation, spiritual practice, and the ongoing pursuit of justice.  

    Yearbook reporting for 2025 is open in ALEX. Congregations can now enter their Yearbook statistics for 2025 at alex.disciples.org. Congregations can download a Yearbook data worksheet for 2025 in English or Spanish from the ALEX Help Center. The Help Center also provides instructions for church staff to create an ALEX account for Yearbook reporting. For help with ALEX and Yearbook reporting, send an email to alex@disciples.org.

    Disciples Interims announces an upcoming leadership transition as Rev. Scott Woolridge, Director, prepares for retirement. They have developed a thoughtful and intentional succession plan. This plan is designed to ensure continuity, stability, and faithful stewardship of the ministry’s mission. Rev. Dale Matherly, Interim Executive Regional Minister of the Central Rocky Mountain Region, an experienced interim minister, will assume the duties of Director during this transition.
