August 13, 2025 View as Webpage With grieving hearts, the Noe family announces the passing of James Alva Noe Jr. James “Jim” Alva Noe Jr., died July 6th peacefully, at his Mercer Island home surrounded by his loved ones. James Noe was a King County Superior Court Judge for many years. He served as Moderator of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in the United States and Canada (1977-1979), and Vice-Moderator (1973-1975). A memorial service will be September 6th at Journey Christian Church at 3pm in Seattle WA to celebrate his life.
