    In preparation for the 2025 General Assembly, your congregation will receive correspondence indicating how many voting representatives they will be allotted, based on this year’s ALEX Yearbook Reporting for 2024. Please submit your list of congregational representatives to the Office of the General Minister and President by June 1, 2025. Voting representatives can be submitted online, by mail, or onsite in Memphis. 

    Repairers of the Breach has issued a report titled, The High Moral Stakes of the Policy Battles Raging in Washington. The report provides a detailed overview of the budget proposal currently being considered in Congress.     May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and NBA’s Mental Health and Wellness team will be hosting several webinars during the month: Resilience in Transition: Navigating Change and Nurturing Care on Wednesday, May 14th at 1:00pm CT; Mental Health Sunday Service and Live Talkback on Sunday, May 18th at 5:30pm CT; and SoulCare Lunch Break on Wednesday, May 28th at 11:30 am CT. There is no cost to attend these events, but registration is required.

    EXTENDED DEADLINE! The Global Theological Fellows program will welcome 10 students each year and is designed to introduce candidates for ministry to the global church. This experience will include the theology of global ministry, learning from global partners, and exploring the impact of global voices on the church today. Applications are due May 31.
