  • Now available: PwC’s 2024 AI Jobs Barometer
  • What half a billion job ads reveal about AI

    PwC's 2024 AI Jobs Barometer

    May 2024

    Dear Vitus

AI is transforming work—making people and businesses more productive and changing what it takes to succeed. Are you ready for the disruption?

Today we launch PwC's 2024 AI Jobs Barometer which extensively analyses AI's impact on workers, companies, and the global economy. We examined half a billion job ads from 15 countries to quantify AI's impact on the workforce.

    The AI jobs outlook

Job postings for AI specialists have grown sevenfold since 2012—and today, they're growing three times faster than all other jobs. That's good news for:

    • Workers—AI specialist positions carry a 25% wage premium, on average.

    • Companies—Labour productivity is ~5x higher in sectors that are most exposed to AI.

    • The global economy—Nations can use AI to fill critical labour shortages and unlock economic expansion.

Read our report to learn how to become an AI disrupter, rather than the disrupted. The report includes:

    • Evidence that AI is transforming what workers and companies can achieve.

    • Key statistics on AI-related jobs, wages, skills, and productivity.

    • Strategies to help workers, companies, and policymakers manage the transition.

If you would like to discuss these findings in more detail, please do not hesitate to contact us below:
