It takes ALL of us to be the church

Can you make a gift to General Assembly? View as Webpage Dear Disciples,  This weekend, Disciples from all over the world will gather in Louisville, Kentucky for the 2023 General Assembly. We will worship, we will make important decisions, we will hug each other for the first time in four years or more. We will learn, we will pray, we will lament, we will laugh. We will be the church together. It takes an enormous effort and resources to make the General Assembly happen. It wouldn’t be possible without the effort of hundreds of volunteers and the generous financial support of Disciples who believe in the power of the church coming together.  Would you add your gift to the many who have already donated?  Here are some reasons you might consider making a gift:  You’re going to be there this weekend, and you can’t wait to hear the sound of thousands of Disciples singing together.  You can’t come this year, but you are grateful for the witness of Disciples in the wider church. You’ve been a regular at General Assemblies for years and they have been transformative in your life. You know that the General Assembly is a whole-church event, and it takes every one of us – our prayers, our presence, our gifts. Make your gift here today. Your gift will help pay for production equipment, speaker honorariums, rental fees, exhibit hall set up, event staff time, worship supplies, music copyright licenses, and so much more.
