May 3, 2023 View as Webpage     The Christian Church Foundation Board of Directors met in Indianapolis, IN, April 23-25 for their spring meeting. The highlight of the meeting was a Monday evening presentation by Rev. Vy Nguyen, Executive Director of Week of Compassion shared stories of his travels with Week of Compassion and how the partnership between Week of Compassion and the Christian Church Foundation has a strong, positive impact on these vulnerable communities. God was doing a new thing: creating a movement for wholeness in a fragmented world. The delegation made visits to Lebanon, Jordan, and Israel/Palestine from April 19-28, at a time of economic and political crises in the region, when partners’ work and witness are especially important. The visit is one of accompaniment and solidarity, as well as to immerse in the contexts of our partners.
