“For the beauty of the earth. . . . Lord of all to Thee we raise, this our hymn of grateful praise.” As summer comes to a close, many churches recognize the “Season of Creation” during the month of September. This is an intentional season of praising God for the beautiful gifts of creation, praying for the evidences of sin and destruction we see and participate in through our consumption and waste, and dedicating ourselves once again to being good stewards. These themes carry over into celebrations of Thanksgiving. This e-newsletter features worship resources to help you include creation/thanksgiving themes into your services in the coming months. |
