Bringing you relevant inspiration, right for this moment.
    Reformed Worship
    April 2022

When many of us take a step outside, it’s impossible to miss the signs of springtime. In some places the trees are flowering, the air feels warm and fresh, and signs of life are emerging from the cold, once-frozen ground. Just as some of our physical surroundings are bringing forth new life, we hope that all of us see the beginning signs of new life budding within your churches as well. As we look towards the hope of Easter, how might we extend that Easter joy to others? How might we celebrate new life, new hope in Jesus Christ, and from that allow a new or renewed vision for worship to emerge? In this enewsletter you will find several worship resources for Eastertide whose goal is to extend the celebration of Easter for the “great 50 days” leading up to Pentecost. May this season be one filled with new life and new hope.

The series focuses around the concept of being “new” and might be a particularly nice series as many churches are dropping Covid restictions and returning to normal.

    A Case For Sabbaticals

“Taking a break really matters. It matters for worship directors so you can go worship in other churches where you are not in charge, you didn’t plan the liturgy, and you do not even have to show up on time.”

Continuing Ed: Lesson, Life and Lydian Scales

“In our own churches, we are likely to be the best trained musician or the most experienced worship planner. We need to put ourselves in positions where we are the least experienced person in the room. Yes, this is terrifying, but a frightening challenge is the surest way to grow.”
