The fall season marks the beginning of the ministry year in many worship communities. As we commission church school educators and ministry leaders, this is also a great time to refresh our understanding of what Christian worship is all about. We hope that you will find the worship series featured in this edition of the eNewsletter (along with more resources found in RW 136) and the highlighted blogs spark your creative imagination in planning for your fall worship services.

Don't forget to check out worship planning resources for World Communion Sunday (October 3) and Canadian Thanksgiving (October 11).

As we look for a fresh start in the fall, we are excited to announce that a brand new web design for Reformed Worship is in the works. We also anticipate a new design for the eNewsletter in October. Stay tuned!

Canadians celebrate Thanksgiving on October 11. The litany draws from the celebratory account of David arranging musicians, priests, and others to praise God after the ark of the covenant had returned to Jerusalem.

    • Take Time to Celebrate: How to Plan for Your Church's Anniversary Throughout the Bible, the Lord reminds people to tell all generations of their LORD'S wonderful works. Part of what that means for us as churches is that we must preserve the memory of how God has worked in our lives.
