Vital 2024 year end gifts: Disciples Mission Fund ~ DR. VITUS BLOG

Together, we are a movement for wholeness in a fragmented and fragile world, stewards of an abundant table.

Together, we made room for the Prince of Peace this season and fresh tidings of wholeness throughout the year.

Together, we interrupted the world yet again with the audacious practice and proclamation of Christmas: limitless love is born in humble places and vitally at work among our covenantal witness, ministries, and communities. As 2024 comes to an end, I am deeply grateful for the contributions that individuals and congregations make to Disciples Mission Fund. Please consider making a year-end gift to support Disciples Mission Fund.

In 2024, gifts to DMF:

·Supported the convening of 12 Regions including, the Central Rocky Mountain Region, Illinois-Wisconsin & Michigan Regions, Arizona Region, Tri-Regional Partnership Initiative (Kansas, Nebraska, Greater Kansas City), Great River Region, Upper Midwest Region, Northern California-Nevada Region, Georgia Region, and the Mid-America Region (pictured above), to continue the work of building a narrative of a shared future across the church and the world. Building on their individual work with the Church Narrative Project and shared work online, they came together to do more than they could do alone.

· Supported hospital and military chaplains that offered comfort and hope as they cared for patients, healthcare workers, and soldiers and civilians impacted by war throughout the world.

· Provided assistance for food pantries, housing ministries, and social service agencies that work faithfully to serve their neighbors and communities in challenging times.

· Sustained ministry in 31 Regions,13 General Ministries,15 colleges and universities, and 7 theological institutions that help individuals, students, congregations, pastors, and communities discern, discover, serve, and grow.

· Expanded access to vital historical and new archival resources to preserve and share the history of our church and the Stone-Campbell movement.

Together, we transform lives and make ministries of wholeness happen through our active and united support for Disciples Mission Fund.

Together, we can continue to do more than we ever could on our own because congregations and individuals share gifts and make financial contributions throughout the year and as the year ends.

Thank you for your steadfast and faithful support for our church. We are stewards of a holy and abundant table with a multitude of gifts from God. Gifts of all sizes make room for more ministry and more wholeness to be shared in the world.
