In 2014, First Christian Church (FCC) of Odessa, Texas, was not in a good place. Membership was down and the building had significant accessibility issues. Without radical transformation, the congregation would perish. But then FCC called a clergy couple, Pastors Dawn and Joe Weaks, - and with the support of Disciples Church Extension Fund – welcome some innovative ideas that turned things around.
