The message for Easter is one of joy, hope, and unity. The epic ending of the Easter season is Ascension Day and Pentecost (May 13 and 23, respectively, this year). In this e-newsletter, we offer ideas and planning resources for these special and important days in the Christian calendar.

Speaking of the Christian calendar, if your congregation follows the Revised Common Lectionary, Reformed Worship has a new resource highlighting resources available for each Sunday's lectionary texts including preaching helps and complete worship services. Please visit calendar here.

    Unity: Psalm 133

    By Joyce Borger

As we move through this season after Easter, this prayer reminds us not to forget Christ's prayer for unity in the garden. The unified gospel message we proclaim Easter Sunday needs to continue to unify us as together we work to bring Christ's healing to a hurting and divided world.

    Sanctuary Architecture and Theophanic Expectation

    By Ron Rienstra

Imagine you have a completely empty, open and blank space. Everything must be brought in and set up from scratch. Assuming you can utilize any mediums you like in the space, high or low tech, how do you configure this space for worship and why?

    By Paul E. Detterman
