Why is it so hard to form good habits? Weight loss success stories are everywhere, as they should be. We hear about these incredible achievements all the time. What don't we hear about? What came before and after these achievements. What were their habits like before their weight loss and how did they change to reach their goal? Too often we focus only on that "100lb weight loss" headline and underestimate the importance of focusing on 24hrs at a time and the series of small steps we take within that time frame. That's where weight loss success is made. Every habit we have is the result of hundreds of thousands of small decisions over time. This is how we've developed thought loops, like negative self talk. It was even a habit for me, but I didn't just wake up one morning and decide to tear myself down. I slowly developed this negative habit over time thanks to thousands of tiny thought daggers I had been throwing at myself for longer than I can remember. How did I break this thought loop? With thousands of positive thoughts over time. How did I start? With gratitude. In the beginning when I couldn't say anything nice about myself, I turned to gratitude as a way to find the good in something around me until it could be me. Those were my small steps and it didn't happen overnight. I would love to help you make the same connection. The 21 Day Attitude for Gratitude Challenge begins Thursday, April 1st at 8pm ET. You're going to learn in 21 days what took me decades to figure out. We're going to talk about the brain science behind gratitude and why it's the antidote to guilt and shame. There's (1) live webinar with me where I share all that you need to start making these shifts. I'll be supporting you and cheering you on the whole way. All for only $19.99. You are worth this work. Let's do this! |
