Wait, what? What’s DMF Day? It’s a online giving day in support of Disciples Mission Fund.

Why DMF? Disciples Mission Fund supports over 70 ministries of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), ministries that are hard at work serving neighbors and sharing God’s love in your congregation and around the world. Supporting DMF is one of the most important ways we express our covenant as a church.

Why tomorrow? August 6 is the anniversary of the Cane Ridge Revival. In 1801, a huge crowd of people gathered at the Cane Ridge Meeting House in Kentucky for two weeks of worship and celebration. It’s one of the events we point to when we talk about the founding of our church. The Holy Spirit was seriously at work at Cane Ridge, and we’re celebrating all the ways the Spirit is still at work today.
